I am a graduate student in the United States, working in a sleep genetics lab. My research involves behavioral genomic and bioinformatic analyses of advanced intercross mice, specifically with regard to aberrant sleep phenotypes. My interests include science, computers, technology, philosophy, religion and history, and you’ll probably find me discussing all of these subjects at one time or another on this blog.
I’m also an open source, open access (for scientific journals), and creative commons enthusiast. Everything on this web site is available under an open source or creative commons license, including WordPress, the theme, and any media created by me or others. If you’re looking for creative commons media, I suggest Wikimedia Commons, or use the Flickr Advanced Search and check off “Only search for Creative Commons-licensed content.”
